Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Channel Manager to expand their channel partner network in the Gauteng Cape region. As the Channel Manager, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding, managing, analyzing, supporting, and growing our partners’ businesses. Your ability to articulate the value of our products and solutions within the partner’s environment will be crucial. - Implement sales strategies within the partner channel to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company and increase revenue by selling our leading AV products and solutions to potential partners.
- Build enduring, strategic relationships, understand partners’ go-to-market strategies, and identify current and future opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing partners.
- Provide accurate forecasting of business and market needs.
- Prepare proposals for the provision of products/services.
- Monitor and report on sales prospects, progress, and performance.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, market intelligence, and competitor capabilities.
- Create visibility for the brand in the IT industry.
- Participate in industry events, activities, and organizations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure optimal sales and customer service experience.
- Work with the support team to ensure prerequisites (e.g., brand prequalification) are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Present and train partner sales teams to articulate brand value propositions and services.
- Drive passionately for customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends, product performance, and the competitive environment to identify new business opportunities and ways to increase sales revenue.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in external sales within IT Channel Sales (AV Solution experience preferred).
- Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Consultative selling experience is required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial in nature, with a focus on customer experience.
- Strong communication and IT fluency.
- Display a learning orientation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Time management – Effective time utilization, meeting all quotes and deadlines.
- Must have a driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
