Our client, the foremost distributor in the South African IT AV market, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead their growth in the Western Cape region. As a pivotal member of the team, you will have an overarching account management role, focusing on onboarding, analysing, supporting, and growing the channel partner network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategies and Customer Satisfaction:
    • Implement sales strategies within the partner channel to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Represent the company, selling leading AV products and solutions to potential partners.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build enduring, strategic relationships with partners.
    • Understand partners’ go-to-market strategy to identify current and future opportunities.
  • Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Provide accurate forecasting of business and market needs.
    • Prepare proposals for product/services provision.
    • Monitor and report on sales prospects, progress, and performance.
  • Brand Visibility and Collaboration:
    • Create visibility of the brand in the IT industry.
    • Participate in industry events, activities, and organizations.
    • Collaborate with internal departments for optimal sales and customer service.
  • Training and Passion for Customer Satisfaction:
    • Present and train partner sales teams on brand value propositions.
    • Passionately drive for customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Analyse market trends, product performance, and the competitive environment.
    • Identify new business opportunities and ways to increase sales revenue.
